NERVO!!! Wait til you guys meet Mim + Liv… two amazing girls from Australia who are producers, songwriters, DJs, artists… basically a humungous ball of girl power awesomeness… I’m obsessed. They’ve been hanging out at the office with us and filling us in on all the new music. I always feel full of inspiration and energy after a visit from Mim + Liv. Look out for an artist page and project going up ASAP as they are currently on tour with Britney Spears and playing festivals like EDC… and I thought I had a dream job!

I saw a tweet from Katy Perry recently that made my day! She said she’s considering resurrecting the “Kitty Purry Blog”. If you’re not familiar with it, you should check it out at www.katyperryblog.com. She hasn’t posted anything new since July 30, 2009 but if you’ve ever wondered what Katy is like as a person or been interested in things that inspire her, this is an amazing place to go. There are 22 pages of Katy’s picks, thoughts, experiences… it’s awesome and most of the time completely hysterical! Case in point, I posted here one of my favorite blog postings ever from 3 years ago. It was right after Katy taped her first ever TV appearance, it was “Ur So Gay” on the Carson Daly Show. I remember watching this video blog and loving it so I’m sharing it with you today. Tweet Katy and tell her to bring the blog back!!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Priscilla Ahn was enjoying a cool margarita at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno today while I was geeking out that Ralph Macchio was a few feet away! She performed the title track off the new album, “When You Grow Up” flanked by beautiful cherry trees… Truly magical. Then her Mom got a cool shout out from Jay - total bonus!
Can’t wait for all of you guys to get to know her, she’s the coolest!

I have to admit I have no clue what March Madness is. Clearly it takes place in March but the part where I think it’s about basketball is a bit unclear. I’d take the time to google it but honestly, I have no time for that, talking to you is more important. AND there’s this other March Madness going on at mtv.com that has my complete undivided attention. Eye the image above where our very own Thirty Seconds to Mars is going in as the “number one seed” and is beating the competition by a mile! BUT can we really leave this hovering around 70%?! AW HELL NO! We wouldn’t be bonafide members of the Echelon if we allowed that to happen. So, GO VOTE! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
